Turf Kings Privacy Policy

Effective Date: 11/1/26

Turf Kings (“the Game”) is developed and operated by Valor Creations / Valor Federal LLC (“we,” “us”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and protect information when you play the Game as a TikTok Mini Game. By playing the Game, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

The Game is designed to collect as little information as possible.

  • Your saved progress stays on your device. Your Coins and Gems, car upgrades, paint jobs and car skins, cleared stages, stars, daily rewards and settings (such as sound, music and vibration) are saved in the Game’s storage on your phone, provided by TikTok. We do not receive or store this progress on our servers.
  • TikTok login. When the Game starts, it asks TikTok to sign you in so that TikTok features such as ads work. TikTok gives the Game a one-time sign-in code. The Game sends that code to our secure server function in the United States (hosted by Supabase), which exchanges it with TikTok to confirm your sign-in. That exchange returns your TikTok OpenID (a unique identifier for your TikTok account) and short-lived access tokens. We use them only to confirm the sign-in, then discard them: we do not store your OpenID or those tokens. We do not receive your TikTok password, username, name, phone number or email address.
  • Anonymous gameplay analytics (see Section 2a).
  • No purchases. The Game has no in-app purchases, and we never collect payment information.

Planned change: a future update may add optional cloud saves, so your progress can follow your TikTok account to another device. That would require linking your progress to your TikTok OpenID. We will update this Privacy Policy, including its Effective Date, before any such feature is released.

We do not collect your real name, email address, phone number, precise location, contacts, photos or device identifiers.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information described above only to:

  • run the Game and keep your progress on your device;
  • confirm your TikTok sign-in;
  • fix problems, balance difficulty and rewards, and improve the Game.

We do not use your information for advertising profiles, marketing or any purpose beyond operating and improving the Game.

2a. Gameplay Analytics

To understand how Turf Kings is played and to improve it, the Game records anonymous gameplay events. Examples: when a play session starts, which stage you play and how the round ends, how long a round takes, how much land you claim, which upgrades or paint jobs you get with in-game currency, which in-game rewards you claim, which optional rewarded-ad offers are shown, accepted, completed or skipped, when a break ad is shown, loading times, frame rate and error codes. Each batch of events also includes the game version and whether your device runs iOS or Android.

Events wait on your device and are sent in small batches between rounds. They are linked only to a random identifier that the Game creates on your device. They do not include your TikTok OpenID, username, name, contact details, photos, precise location or advertising identifiers. We do not store IP addresses with these events, although our hosting provider (Supabase) may briefly process IP addresses in its server logs to run and secure the service.

The Game never sends analytics while you are playing a round or while an ad is open. Events are stored in our Supabase database in the United States (Oregon) and can only be written through a server-side function. We use them only to fix problems, balance the Game and improve it. We do not sell them, share them with advertisers or use them for ad targeting. Individual events are deleted after 90 days; after that we keep only totals and averages, such as daily player counts, that cannot identify anyone.

Because these events are not linked to your identity, we cannot look them up or connect them to you. Clearing the Game’s data or reinstalling resets the random identifier.

3. TikTok’s Role in Data Handling

Turf Kings runs inside TikTok as a Mini Game, and several functions are handled directly by TikTok’s own systems, not by us:

  • Login. Sign-in is handled entirely by TikTok. We never see or store your TikTok password.
  • Rewarded video ads. The Game offers optional rewarded video ads (for example, to get back into a round, start with extra land, double a round’s coins or claim bonus coins). Watching one is always your choice, and every stage can be beaten without ads.
  • Break ads. The Game may also show a short ad between rounds, for example after you tap Next or Retry. Break ads never appear during a round.

Ad delivery, ad targeting and any data collection connected to serving ads is handled by TikTok’s advertising system, not by us.

TikTok’s own privacy policy governs how TikTok collects and uses data in connection with these functions. You can read it at https://www.tiktok.com/legal/page/row/privacy-policy/en (or the version for your region).

4. How We Protect Your Information

Anonymous analytics are stored in a secured, cloud-hosted database (Supabase) in the United States. The database has no public access: the Game can only add events through a server-side function and cannot read anything back. We take reasonable technical measures to protect information, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

5. No Sale of Personal Data

We do not sell, rent or trade personal data to third parties. We do not share gameplay data with other players or with any third party, except where required by law or as described in this Policy.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

Your saved progress lives on your device; clearing the Game’s data or removing it from TikTok deletes it. Anonymous analytics events are deleted automatically after 90 days. Because they are not linked to your identity, we cannot find or delete a specific person’s events, but you can contact us with any privacy question at the address below.

7. Children’s Privacy

Turf Kings is intended for a general audience and is not directed specifically at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in a manner inconsistent with applicable law. If you have a concern, please contact us using the information below.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the Game, our practices or legal requirements. We will update the “Effective Date” above when changes are made. Continued play of the Game after changes take effect means you accept the revised Policy.
